Nya Älvsborgs fästning eller bara Älvsborg är en fästning på Kyrkogårdsholmen i Älvsborgsfjorden (tidigare Wike fjord) i Göta älvs mynning, vid inloppet till Göteborgs hamn. Fästningen började byggas 1653 för att försvara staden mot den danska flottan, som på samma plats byggt en fästning redan 1644. Den har varit belägrad, men aldrig intagen av fientliga styrkor. Bilden togs under sommaren 2022 och det annalkande ovädret ger bilden en viss dramatik.
