Konstmuseets byggnad, ritad av Arvid Bjerke och Sigfrid Ericson, uppfördes till Jubileumsutställningen 1923. Två år senare invigdes museet efter att interiörerna färdigställts och samlingen hängts på plats. Den högt placerade byggnaden har en monumental framtoning men är påfallande grund. Arkitekturen är influerad av den romerska antiken men knyter också an till svensk klassicism från 1920-talet. Bilden är tagen en tidig sommarmorgon och inför fotograferingen fick jag flytta ett 20-tal el-sparkcyklar som låg slängda över Götaplatsen. Bilden är en av mina första bilder i stan med en drönare och är sammansatt av 9 bilder till en panoramabild.
